Building a Resilient Local Workforce.
Automation will fundamentally reshape what “work” looks like in Longmont. This group is dedicated to ensuring our local economy thrives because of AI, not in spite of it. We collaborate with the Longmont Chamber of Commerce and local business owners to demystify these tools, offering practical workshops on how small businesses can use AI to compete with giants. Beyond adoption, we are exploring the economic “safety net” of the future—investigating models for workforce retraining and advocating for a local economy that prioritizes human connection and service.
