Data Dignity and Local Rights.
We believe privacy is a civil right, not a luxury good. As AI integrates into city infrastructure—from traffic cameras to hiring algorithms—Longmont citizens deserve transparency and control. This working group could act as a bridge to the Longmont City Council, drafting frameworks for a local “Data Bill of Rights.” We research best practices from around the world to ensure our local governance is smart, ethical, and protects the “digital exhaust” of every resident. We aren’t anti-tech; we are pro-human in the loop.
